Environmental design project, including but not limited to event support, museum signage, wayfinding signage and interpretive panels, and donor walls.

Experiential Design
Asian Food Fest
Greater Cincinnati region’s largest celebration of Asian food and culture, a 2-day food extravaganza which attracts nearly 100,000 attendees annually.
Brand Expansion ➤ I refreshed the existing design library, bringing in brighter color tones, adding new illustrations and patterns relevant to the cultural programming and Year of the Dragon, and creating new logo lockups with relevant event information
Master Graphics ➤ I developed the primary visual approach, reformatted across social media graphics and ads, website banners, digital billboards, and printed posters
Signage Design ➤ I created a suite of templates for vendor signage, stage banners, information tents, banner stands, and wayfinding kiosks, as well as stickers for winning vendors to place on the windows of their storefronts
Cincinnati Museum Center: Dreamland at Holiday Junction
Folks in Cincinnati visit the Museum Center in droves every holiday season to check out the Holiday Junction exhibit, see the Duke Energy Center trains, and meet Santa.
Illustrations ➤ I digitally illustrated over 100 unique buildings, including dozens of historical and cultural landmarks notable across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and the iconic Roebling Bridge. My team created compositions for different neighborhoods across the city which were then laser cut, paint washed, assembled and suspended as a 1 ton, 30’ 3D installation which floats harmoniously above the historic Duke Energy model train display
Holden Arboretum
Spanning over 3,600 acres, the Holden Arboretum is a nature lover’s dream. With gardens, trails, lakes and meadows, there is always something new to explore, and they offer immersive experiences and unique perspectives of the tree canopy and surrounding areas. Interpretive panels and wayfinding support the mission to connect people with the wonder, beauty, and value of trees and plants, to inspire action for healthy communities.
Design Approach ➤ With a shorter timeline than initially planned, I worked closely with my creative director to establish a design system with a modular templated layout, defining a pairing of engravings and line art illustration styles with intention to modify stock illustrations to build scenes with correct native and invasive species
Interpretive Panels ➤ I designed four panels to support the educational programming of foresters and naturalists at the Arboretum, developing detailed compositions reflective of the panel’s physical location, which underwent intensive revisions to ensure accurate species representation for trees, saplings, seedlings, bushes, birds, and mammals
Wayfinding Signage ➤ I designed a wayfinding signage system approach for the three trails around the arboretum, with variations for single trails, connected loops, and forks
Honey Child Pops
Honey Child makes whole blended fruit pops that taste great and are made with only the best ingredients. All of their pops are free from dairy, cane sugar, and gluten. With over 50 rotating flavors at their carts, and new ice creams and frozen treats at their truck, there’s something for everyone.
Truck Wrap ➤ Taking Honey Child’s established brand illustrations, I added relevant ingredients and products to the suite and designed a pattern wrap that mirrors the approach of the smaller carts their team uses at markets and events, submitted on a template with the printer’s specifications
Contemporary Arts Center
The Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) in downtown Cincinnati brings art and the creative process to all people through exhibitions and experiences that open minds.
Iconography ➤ I created a suite of custom icons, riffing off the outline style of the CAC logo, which complement the custom typeface a collaborator designed specifically for this project
Panels and Wayfinding Signage ➤ I took templates designed by my creative director for the modular vestibule entryway signs and elevator signage and adjusted for consistency with all other signage I developed, using angled shapes to reflect the architectural style of the building, spanning across floor identification, restrooms and utilities, elevator buttons, and custom map illustrations
IPM Food Pantry
IPM Food Pantry provides families starting over with essential kitchen items to help them prepare meals in their new homes on the east side of Cincinnati, work made possible by generous donors.
Donor Wall ➤ I designed this organic, rainbow themed donor wall for IPM’s new facility using panel size to delineate donor levels, pairing the wave with laser cut letters with the group’s tagline. I focused on acquiring highly saturated images of fruits, vegetables, grains and dry goods, and interspersed these panels with solid colors to create a bright, warm welcome area
